Rose River Therapy was founded by Dr Vikki Kelly who has over 20 years experience of working therapeutically with adults, adolescents, children and families, both in the NHS and private practice.

Specialising in PTSD, trauma and other mental health conditions, Vikki takes a holistic, integrative, person-centred approach to health and wellbeing using neurobiological therapies such as Brainspotting, EMDR and Deep Brain Reorienting alongside cognitive and psychotherapeutic models of care.

Alongside working for various NHS Trusts in London, Surrey and Kent, Vikki previously worked at the Priory Hospital as lead psychologist for their Adult ASD Unit treating those with comorbid mental health issues and also Beacon House, a specialist therapeutic services and trauma team.
Vikki has extensive experience working with children and adults in medical settings having worked at the Evelina Children's Hospital at Guys and St Thomas' NHS Trust in London for over 10 years. Her role involved the provision of psychological assessment and intervention for specialties such as respiratory, gastroenterology, renal, cardiology, infectious diseases, endocrinology and paediatric intensive care.

Vikki was the clinical lead for trauma at the Evelina, responsible for establishing a dedicated trauma service. Here she oversaw and delivered trauma provision to children, young people, parents and health care staff within the hospital.
​
Previously held posts include research at the Institute of Psychiatry and Kings Centre for Military Health Research. Vikki formally served in the Territorial Army, Royal Engineers Regiment. She also has close links with the Salomons Clinical Psychology Doctoral Course where she helped facilitate their Diversity in Practice teaching.
​
Vikki is passionate about helping those involved in abusive situations and is a Trustee for The Daisy Chain Project – a domestic abuse charity offering pro bono legal support in Sussex and Kent. She is working closely with the charity to develop and establish a therapy service to support those going through court proceedings.
​
On a more personal note, Vikki is a green tea drinking mother to 3 children and likes dancing, forest bathing and healing crystals. She also has a habit of buying books that she never has time to read.
