Welcome

We all have difficulties from time to time. Sometimes these challenges can feel overwhelming and make it hard to talk to those people closest to you. If the difficulties start to affect everyday life and you can't seem to find a way forward then talking to a Clinical Psychologist may help. Talking to a therapist can allow you to understand what has led to these issues and help support you in your search for a solution.

We have a particular interest in working with

 PTSD and other types of trauma

using specialist trauma focused interventions.

About us

  • Adult Mental Health (Community and Inpatient)

  • Paediatrics

  • Child & Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS)

Sometimes it's hard to understand what you even need help with. We can guide you to figure it all out. We work collaboratively with clients to help identify strengths and resources in order to alleviate distress and maximise wellbeing.  We specialise in many types of therapies and together will work out which is the best for you.

Trauma Therapy

Trauma is an emotional and somatic response to an overwhelming  experience or event.  It can manifest in various ways and not always at the time when the incident happened. Trauma can be acute, chronic or complex leading to different types of reactions and symptoms. If you are struggling with trauma then talk to us about how our therapies can help.

Please read more about the types of trauma that we can help with and the approaches that we are trained in.
